Such a nice Stater Brothers location in a big parking mall by In and Out, The Public Library and all. I have been coming here for many many years when I iived in the area back in the days. I recently stopped by here visiting some folks, and purchased a couple of meats and comfort food for a party. Place still looks the same. Nice and organized store here. Feels good to visit again.
To Stater La Verne, I would like to take the time to write about about 4 of your employees -first I would like to thank one of the managers, Frank who although being busy so kindly assisted me with finding a particular wine bottle - thank you for taking the time to do so. Secondly I would like to thank the cashier, Nazareth for expressing interest and conversing with the customers - I've noticed that very few ever do so anymore and are more focused on getting people through their lines. Thirdly I would like to thank the bagger, Laila who was attentive and kind - thank you for wrapping my glass bottles and for asking my preferences in the manner which I would like my items bagged. So many just shove items together which end up ruining the groceries and I would just like to thank her for keeping a smile the entire time. Lastly I would like to thank one of your other box person Gizelle who kindly despite being occupied sweeping around escorted me to the restroom. People like these are what make people like to return to a store. These people are the embodiment of great customer service. I'm more of a Vons guy myself. However the ambience of this store is much more comforting and you can tell that the employees have developed bonds with each other and have respect based on how they communicate with one another. Having great connections with one's peers is so important in creating a good shopping environment and it's extremely notable in this case. This Stater Brothers has something magical about it. The produce is unbelievably wonderful, the holiday flair items are unique finds, the employees keep the checkout lines moving in a cheerful way despite it being so busy with customers every time I come in, and they manage to be very courteous while keeping the store really super clean. It does not look easy and I appreciate the hardship it must be; particularly when they are so close to the freezing cold air next to the door. For the love of God can someone help them with that cold gust of air?
The deli has the best fried chicken known to man kind. Love the service back there and they're quick.
Having been a customer of stater bro for 35+ years from San Bernardino to Covina the store, the store manager Felicia and the staff she has put together in the foothill&DSt In Laverne is to me one of the best out there her store is always clean and well stocked and just a great group of people it is now the only grocery store I shop in. Thank you Felicia your extra help is always greatly appreciated

Stater Brothers is doing it right in La Verne. Their Customer Service was evident with every employee saying hello and being friendly. I was so impressed. Jen is a fabulous cashier and so great with all ages! I loved seeing the employees having a special bond and chatting with our local Seniors in the store.
